Calix Engine Block Coolant Pre-Heater

Calix Heaters are used to heat coolant to prevent premature wear at low starting temperatures. These can be used for transmissions, gearboxes, pumps, axles/differentials and engines. Using the calix cable system, you can install this in conjunction with an engine block pre heater to heat the coolant using one supply. Low Watt Density. Liquids such as water, vegetable oils and salt baths can tolerate high power density heaters, any liquids with high viscosity or low thermal conductivity require low power density heaters. If the power density is too high, then the liquid or material will carbonise resulting in damage to the liquids being heated and the heater itself.

ATTENTION

• No parts of the installation must be allowed to come into contact with moving or hot parts of the engine.
• Calix engine heaters are not compatible with any radiator sealant, radweld, cooling system stop leak or other coolant leak repair additives. Using the heater in conjunction with these chemicals will invalidate the warranty.
